Mr. Sasho Dontchev

Executive Director, Overgas Inc.

Sasho Donchev was born on September 7,1953. He graduated the National Academy for petroleum and gas “I.M.Gubkin”, Moscow with speciality "Construction of trunk gas-mains" and the University of national and world economy, specialty "Export-trade relationships".

Between 1978 and 1990 he works in „Gasstroymontaj" at first as a technical director,then as a designer,as a head of department “Transit gas-main Turkey-Russia” and as a director of building-installation management in construction of trunk gas-main “Tula-Moscow-Kiev”. In 1991 together with some of his colleagues Sasho Donchev creates “Overgas” OOD.

Sasho Donchev is one of the initiators and creators of the National programme for development and gasification in Bulgaria, the Conception of development of the gasification in Bulgaria and the Project for the gasification of the unhabited areas in Bulgaria. He has more than 20 scientific publications and engineering elaborations, published in Bulgaria,Russia,Germany,Austria,Syria and Libya. He is a member of the Academy of technological sciences in the Russian Federation. He has been given the rank "Honorable member" and a “Golden sign” from the World Movement “Ecoforum for peace”.

In 1994 he wins the great award “Atanas Burov” for industrial management, the awards of Businessleaders' Bulgarian Forum – first place for “Investor in education” and third place for “Investor in environment” and the award “IN-5” of the Bulgarian economic chamber for contribution to the development in Bulgarian economy. Russian,Polish and English are his fluent languages.
