"Cycle Challenge" initiative raises funds for our children
The largest agency providing foster care in Great Britain - Foster Care Associates (FCA) has traditionally organizes two-week campaigns to promote the foster care on the island. This year the initiative "Cycle Challenge" was held from 17 to 30 May and was dedicated to raising funds for the causes of the "For Our Children" Foundation.
During the two weeks tour, Chris Morris and Benjamin Gooding from FCA passed 1407 km. from the southernmost point of Great Britain to the north in support of Bulgarian children. On their way they stopped at the local offices of the FCA, where employees, foster parents and friends of the organization participated in charity auctions, children's parties and other charity events.
The fundraising initiative will continue among the FCA employees in the previous months and the raised amount will be used to recruit more foster parents for Bulgarian children.
