On 6-th of August at the center for children and families of the "For Our Children” Foundation was held a meeting where foster parents and the organization team discussed the challenges and responsibilities to care for abandoned child.
 

Special guest of the meeting was Bridget Bradley, who is Head of professional practice of the largest foster care agency in the UK “Core assets”. She highlighted the importance of the social workers’ excellent qualification for foster care development in Bulgaria and said that she was impressed by the good teamwork and coordination of "For Our Children" team. During her one-week visit in Bulgaria Bridget Bradley met with employees of the Foundation to give them recommendations for their work with foster families.

 "I want to express my sincere gratitude to the team for their support. They were together with us from the moment we submitted documents for foster parents till the day when our child opened the door of our home. Thank you for being with us.” - said Kremena Simeonova, foster parent.

The Development director of "For Our Children" Elka Nalbantova congratulated foster parents for their decision to open their hearts to children at risk and give them all their love and support.

At the end of the meeting social workers and foster parents confirmed the importance their joint partnership to ensure a happy and safe family environment for children.
