31 children and adolescents with severe and multiple disabilities, patients of the social-health comlex “St.Petka” in Plovdiv now enjoy the new and innovative equipment – hydromassage bathtub, bath column and massage bed. It was bought by “For Our Children” Foundation with the financial support from the “I play and dream” project and it’s entirely free for the patients of the Complex.

The specialists from the Complex will be using the equipment to stimulate the development of the children and young people whom they work with and to improve their overall condition and communication skills. Since the sessions in aquatic environment are easier, the team believes they will lead to a significantly improved the psycho-emotional tone, better blood circulation and bone growth and will relax muscles of the children with disabilities.

Dr. Iglika Kazandjieva, the manager of the Complex, shared her joy and gratitude to “For Our Children” Foundation for the long-awaited equipment.

“I thank the Foundation for what it does for the children in Bulgaria and more specifically for those in Plovdiv”, she said.

“You always feel satisfied when you do good”, responded Lina Samandrova, regional manager of the Foundation for Plovdiv.

We from “For Our Children” Foundation hope to proceed our partnership with “St. Petka” complex for social-health services in order to be able to combine out efforts and help many more children and families who need our support.
