Parents who were inspired by the first edition of Raya’s Art Laboratory sent us an interesting recipe for homemade plasticine.
We decided to share it with you.
According to our specialists, playing with plasticine gives children a wide range of creative abilities. On the one hand, they develop their imagination. On the other hand, it influences their fine motor skills and sensory interaction.
So, let us get started!
1 cup of flour
1 tablespoon oil
2 packs of lemon juice powder
1 cup of water
Non-dangerous colourant (paint for eggs)
Flavouring, if wanted – vanilla, lemon or whatever you prefer. It is important that the child is not allergic to the flavouring.
Mix the flour, salt and the lemon juice powder.
Cover them with the water, oil, paint and the flavouring.
The liquid needs to be stirred the entire time at a moderate temperature (mark 4) at the stove for around 5 minutes – until becoming an elastic ball. Leave it to cool down.
Durability: around a month. To be stored in closed containers or in kitchen foil.
