The campaign “This Christmas You do the miracles” won first prize in the category “Campaign of the year” in the contest of Sofia municipality “Good practices in the area of social services”. The initiative is part of the agreement for cooperation between the delivers of social services, state organizations and Sofia municipality and is being conducted for the second consecutive year.
The award was given to us by the deputy mayor of Sofia municipality in direction “Social activities and integration of people with disabilities” Albena Atanasova.
To determine your activity for the best among over 40 nominated campaigns is a big recognition. This is the best Christmas award which the experts from “For our children” foundation could ever wish for.
To raise funds for a good cause and in the same time create joy to the people who donate. This is the main goal of the campaign “This Christmas You do the miracles” of “For our children” foundation.
In the edition of “This Christmas You do the miracles” in 2018 over 53 companies took part and donated to the foundation over 60 000 BGN. With them the foundation saved 27 babies from abandoning, helped 89 children with disabilities and difficulties in the development, supported 50 children to live in loving foster families and donated 11 babies with everyday care in the Children`s House.
From 7 years the experts form the foundation offer companies with corporation social responsibility a choice of formats of events for a company welcoming of Christmas connected with charity. On the official website of the campaign, “This Christmas You do the miracles” the companies have a choice of ideas coming from the experts from the foundation`s desire to make everyone happy – the giving and the receivers. A charity lunch with a cause, the organizing of a winter office Olympics – arm wrestling with winter gloves, traditional dance at the office, karaoke party, Christmas cinema and many other.
Every year the participators in our charity campaign grow. With them also grows the fund raising given with full transparency to the children who need support.
